I am the proud co-founder and co-author of The Autism Food Club and Autism: Exploring the benefits of a Gluten and Casein-free diet, an innovative platform and publication that translates complex scientific research into practical, family-friendly guidance. Working alongside autism researchers and a specialist dietitian, we created a resource that helps families, teachers, and carers navigate gluten and casein-free (GFCF) dietary interventions for children with autism spectrum conditions. The project combined my culinary expertise with cutting-edge research to deliver free recipes, simplified science, and genuine support to a community that needed it. It was about more than just food—it was about making evidence-based nutrition accessible and empowering families and carers with the tools to potentially improve their children’s quality of life.

I believe passionately that young people with drive and ideas deserve more than just advice—they need access to mentorship, and real opportunities to succeed. My background, as far back as Secondary School, together with my later business experiences gives me a unique lens on building businesses that work both commercially and socially.

The Student Business Factory is about inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs, bridging the gap between entrepreneurial ambition and real-world business success for young people. The project runs “Drop in” Business Hubs in the community that inspire, teach practical entrepreneurship skills whilst providing an investment pathway that turns student ideas into viable start-up businesses. It’s not about teaching business theory—it’s about giving students access to suitable business expertise, funding, mentorship, and the resources they need to launch actual ventures. The model combines business guidance with real capital investment, helping young entrepreneurs move from concept to launch with support at every stage. I believe entrepreneurship shouldn’t wait until after graduation, and we are proving that students with drive and good ideas deserve the same support as any other founder.
